You can report a repair online using our Report a Repair Form, STAR Tenant Portal or by calling us on 0333 32 12 200. For emergency repairs outside office hours, your call will be diverted to our out-of-hours provider.

Tenancy visits are routine checks to ensure everything is going well with your tenancy and your home. We’ll notify you in advance and use the visit to answer any questions you may have.
Yes, but you’ll need written permission first. You can submit your request using the Property Alteration Request Form.
Contents insurance protects your belongings against risks like fire, flood, or theft. This is not included in your tenancy so we strongly recommend that you purchase your own cover.
To end your tenancy, you’ll need to give 4 weeks’ notice using the Termination of Tenancy Form or STAR Tenant Portal. We’ll confirm your end date and arrange an exit inspection.
You can report anti-social behaviour using our ASB Reporting Form, STAR Tenant Portal or by speaking with your local Neighbourhood Housing Officer. In an emergency, if you feel threatened or have witnessed a crime, call West Mercia Police: 999 (emergency)
Your tenancy is with Shropshire Council, but it’s managed day-to-day by STAR Housing. Our teams are here to support you.
We understand this can be a difficult time. If a tenant passes away, please contact us as soon as possible so we can guide you through the next steps. Depending on your relationship to the tenant and your living arrangements, you may be eligible to take over the tenancy or need to arrange for it to end.
