Repair Appointments

Appointment timeslots

Whenever possible, we’ll offer you a repair or inspection appointment when you first report the issue. We offer 3 timeslots:

  • Morning appointments : between 8:00am and 12:00pm  
  • Afternoon appointments : between 12:00pm and 4:00pm  
  • All-day appointments : between 8:00am and 4:00pm  

If you have any specific access needs, such as avoiding the school run or needing extra time to answer the door, please let us know when booking. 

Please note: 
In the event of an emergency, we cannot offer a timed appointment. You’ll be asked to wait for the next available operative. 

Missed Appointment

If you miss your appointment, we’ll leave a card asking you to contact us to rearrange. If three appointments are missed and we don’t hear from you, we’ll assume the repair is no longer needed and cancel the job. 

Do I Need to Be Home?

  • For internal repairs, an adult (18 or over) must be present.  
  • For external repairs (e.g. gates, guttering), you don’t need to be home if we can access the area safely. 

Repair Categories and Timescales

When you report a repair, we’ll let you know which priority category it falls into and aim to book an appointment within the relevant timescale.

Emergency Repair

Heating breakdown, loss of power, serious leak, broken or unsecure lock 

Attend and make safe within 24 hours (may require follow-up visit) 

Urgent Repair

Blocked sink or bath, leaking pipework (containable), running overflow

Within 7 days

Routine Repair

Roof repairs, patch plastering, loose flooring

Within 28 days (weather permitting)

Planned Repair

Guttering, plastering, removal of damaged fencing

Within 6 months
